Mars affects the areas of anger, physical work, direct energy and assertiveness. Competiition and self motivation are also affected. Look at your long term goals and take steps to make them happen.

Uranus rules areas of originality, genius, unconventionality and humanitarian goals and activities. Rebellion and breaking rules also fall under the influence of this planet. When in retrograde realise that things are not secure or stable and can change drastically - keep a focussed and positive outlook on your goals and path and stick to things. You may feel like breaking rules just for the sake of it. This is not advisable.
