In Reiki level I, the student receives the first of the Reiki attunements and a healing attunement. The student is also taught centring and breathing techniques; visualisation and meditation techniques; The history of Reiki, an introduction to the Human and Universal energy systems; including the chakras, spiritual bodies, etc; the self healing hand positions; an introduction to the human endocrine system; and other techniques to create a solid base for further learning.

I only teach the Usui Shiki Royo Reiki Level 1 Course once a year to allow time for the student to assimilate the contents and intergrate it into their personal lives.
